Chris Hayman, an experienced executive with over 20 years knowledge in telecommunications, is the new Chief Executive Officer of Digicel Cayman. 

Originating from Devon in England, Chris joined Digicel in 2004 at the Group’s Corporate Headquarters in Jamaica.  He was appointed Head of Business Services for Digicel Jamaica, during which time the company acquired nearly 80% of the Corporate market. Whilst in Jamaica, he served on the boards and committees of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica’s Technology Sector, Central Information Technology Office and a member of the Planning Institute of Jamaica’s Planning Committee for Vision 2030.  In 2009, he was appointed Sales Director of Retail and Corporate Services for Digicel Trinidad & Tobago.

Before moving to the Caribbean, Chris was based in Dublin working with O2 Ireland, developing their Business market. Prior to O2 Ireland Chris was based in London working  with British Telecoms plc (BT), in the Group Strategy and Development division working throughout Europe and Asia on the expansion of their Mobile Operations in the regions.

Chris obtained his Degree in Technology and Computer Science with Honours, and a post graduate Diploma in Computer Science. 

Chris is married with two children and enjoys all sports but particularly squash, swimming and diving.  

Giosino Colaiacovo, Chief Financial Officer

Giosino is a Certified General Accountant joining Digicel in May 2008.  He brings with him over ten years of extensive corporate and operational accounting.  Prior to his arrival to Digicel, Giosino spent several years with the Cayman Islands Government and nine years with a privately owned then publicly traded Canadian pharmaceutical retail operation.


Raul Nicholson-Coe, Operations Director

Raul joined Digicel Cayman in March 2009 as the Operations Director. His main areas of responsibilities are Legal, Regulatory, Government Relations and Customer service.

Raul has over fifteen years experience in telecommunication having worked with a number of other major telecommunication companies within the region. He was most recently the COO/President of TeleCayman. 

Prior to that, he was the General Manager of Cingular/AT&T also based in the Cayman Islands.

In his spare time Raul enjoys spending time with his family and exercising.

Rhys Ebanks, Head of Technology

Rhys Ebanks joined Digicel in January 2007 as Broadband Implementation Supervisor.  He quickly moved up the ranks to his current position of Head of Technology with responsibility for all Technical Departments, including GSM/Switching, Operations & Maintenance, I.T. and Broadband (Corporate & Residential).

Rhys holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems and Operations Management from East Carolina University.

Rhys enjoys spending time with his family, his wife and son. In his spare time he enjoys wave running, cycling, music and online gaming. 

Brian Hurley, Head of Business Sales

Brian joined Digicel Cayman in August 2007. Having worked for many of the leading telecoms companies in both fixed and mobile markets in Ireland for over 8 years, Brian brings a wealth of experience both in sales and sales management to Digicel.

Brian holds a Bachelors degree in Business Studies from the University of Limerick in Ireland and thoroughly enjoys working in the telecommunications industry.

Brian and his wife enjoy living in Grand Cayman. In his spare time, Brian enjoys running, swimming and watching football.
