Digicel is aware that certain customers may have experienced some issues with their data service yesterday Monday 16th January around 1:30pm.

The cause of the issue was a third-party outage that took place off-island which resulted in a disruption of data service on BlackBerry and internet-enabled mobile devices.

Digicel quickly worked to inform the supplier and the issue was resolved with data services fully restored by early evening.

Digicel wishes to apologize for the inconvenience caused, thanks its customers for their patience and assure them that it continues to focus on delivering the best network and best service to its valued customers across Cayman.
